My client is a major support partner to the Royal Navy and market leading FTSE 250 organisation who are currently looking for a Project Services Manager on a permanent basis.

You will require the following skills & Experience:-

• Degree level or equivalent in an Engineering/Technical subject and relevant experience.
• Ability to interface with Management and Customers.
• Financial awareness.
• Commercial awareness.

Your Roles & Responsibilities will include:-

• Cradle-to-grave management of assigned Warship Support projects.
• Ensure all project stakeholders are involved, buy-in to and work to the project plan.
• Lead continuous improvement.
• Develop and control project management plans for each assigned project ensuring that sufficient control mechanisms and performance indicators are in place.
• Manage all contract control activity, ensuring the timely availability of Project information to all stakeholders through each stage of the project.
• Management of budgetary control for project.
• Act as focal point in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all stakeholders through each stage of the project.
• Ensure the impact of change and subsequent risks/benefits are agreed, managed and communicated through each stage of the project.
• Communication of timely and accurate project progress and performance information to the refit team, senior management and customers through each stage of the project.
• Undertake performance management of staff, including conducting appraisals and identify/undertake development/training in line with business needs.
• Support company initiatives, providing appropriate project planning resource.

The salary on this role is £41k – £46k. You will also have the opportunity to earn a bonus at the end of the year subject to your performance.
