Our client is a major defence contractor based in Bristol who is looking for a Marine Planning Engineer on a contract basis.

You will require the following skills and experience:-

• Basic understanding of AutoCAD.
• Awareness of H&S in office and ship environment.
• Understanding of Tribon.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Projects/Primavera P6.
• Shipbuilding background.

Your roles and responsibilities will include:-

• Creating and monitoring Integrated Management Systems.
• Producing dock utilisation and unit footprint information.
• Producing erection/dry survey/tank testing programmes.
• Issuing 12 week look ahead programmes.
• Compiling steelwork/PO1/zone packages.
• Support LRQA audits.
• Understanding man-hour recording and EVM.
