Are you a well experienced Maintenance Engineer who has experience of supervising/managing other Maintenance Engineers? Paying from £43000 up to £48500 and working Monday to Friday circa 9 to 5 (37.5hours) we are seeking a well experienced maintenance engineer who is predominantly mechanically biased. Working closely with the Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will oversee a team of circa 6 and report into the Maintenance Manager.

What do they do? They are a manufacturer based in Southern Wiltshire near to Salisbury. They supply into multiple industries and employ several hundred permanently on site.

What will I do? Utilising your strong hands on approach you'll lead the maintenance engineers, review current processes and equipment and proactively improve processes and systems. You'll use your good communication skills to communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers and internal personnel and add value to the maintenance department operations.

What do I need? As a mechanically biased job you will be expected to have a HNC or HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. The facility has various automation plants so having a good understanding of automation is very important. Hydraulics, Pneumatics experience is key and essentially the man management, supervisory, leadership skills are a must.
