We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work for a very exciting engineering company who design and manufacture innovative products for military and commercial warfare defensive aids/systems. Utilising highly innovative and exciting technology as a Manufacturing Engineer you'll improve the manufacturing process ensuring that current and new products designs are optimised for cost and efficient manufacturing.

Working hours are typically 0930 to 1530 Monday to Thursday with a 1pm finish on Fridays

You'll work at one of their sites in Hamble Southampton and utilise your manufacturing / industrial engineering experience to develop plant layout, tooling, fixtures and manufacturing processes. You'll have an understanding of DFMA to eliminate inefficiency in a product design an understanding of DFMA principles and applicant is important.

What do I need to apply? A degree in Engineering is essential, i.e mechanical, manufacturing, industrial for example. You'll have to have experience within manufacturing, i.e tooling, fixtures, BOM, DFMA and of course be able to collect and conclude from data to tackle any challenges.

It would be advantageous to have some Test engineering experience and possibly some exposure to Labview for developed automated test systems.
