Support Assistant (Category 2.5 Sheltered Housing)

Salary: £16,503 - £17,513 per annum (£10,035 - £10,649 for 22.5 hours) plus 17% shift enhancement.

22.5 hours per week, Monday - Sunday - worked over a 2 day rota, both days and evenings.

DBS Disclosure at Enhanced level will be required prior to any offer of employment and this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Do you have a caring nature with an understanding of older persons and the needs and concerns they may have? We require a support assistant to join our team at Nicholson Gardens & Hale Court, providing residents with day to day housing related support according to need.

You need to be a good listener who is able to remain calm in an emergency. In addition you will be prepared to provide direct assistance to residents with their personal living conditions and be confident when talking to families of residents and agencies involved.
