An exciting opportunity to work on one of the largest regeneration projects in South East England.

Adur District Council, Brighton & Hove City Council and West Sussex County Council are working in partnership to deliver the Shoreham Harbour Regeneration Project. The councils have ambitious plans to transform the area with a mix of new sustainable developments alongside an enhanced Shoreham Port.

You will have the opportunity to work on the Shoreham Harbour Joint Area Action Plan which will be submitted in 2018. We are also working with developers on exciting mixed use schemes, preparing a green infrastructure strategy, and developing plans for a district heat network in the area.

This is a varied post offering an excellent opportunity to be involved in policy development and delivery of a major regeneration project. The post will be jointly based within the Planning Policy and Major Projects teams at Brighton & Hove City Council and Adur & Worthing Councils.

The Sussex coast is a unique, vibrant and exciting place to live and work, offering lively city life in Brighton, riverside charm in Shoreham-by-Sea, traditional seaside character in Worhting, an attractive and varied coastline and easy access to the South Downs National Park. There are excellent transport connections to London and Gatwick Airport.
