Salary £9.18 to £9.58 per hour (which includes an enhancement for annual leave)

Specialist Day Services at Glebelands day centre require a part time support worker. To ensure the independence, safety and wellbeing of people with physical, sensory or memory impairments. Customers will have been assessed as eligible through Adult Services and attend one or more days per week.

Glebelands day centre is recruiting to its team; you will be involved in supporting customers, during their day at the centre, promoting their independence and working in a person centred way. You will be involved in Escort duties on in-house transport to and from the centre, ensuring safe access to the centre. The successful candidate will support customers with their personal care needs working in a dignified and respectful manner. Support workers also work with customers to engage in a range of individual and group activities (including Arts and crafts, Reminiscence and gentle exercise etc.).

As a support worker will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge and be supported and mentored at Glebelands day centre. You will have the opportunity to attend training which is relevant to this role.
