We have a temporary role available within the SEN Assessment Team and we are pleased to offer the opportunity to join the team on a fixed term contract or on a secondment basis (secondments are available to WSCC schools/staff).

This roles will be focused on supporting the implementation of the SEND Reforms, particularly the transfer of Statements to Education Health & Care Plans (EHCPs). This is an excellent professional development opportunity to gain in-depth experience of the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice related to Education Health & Care Needs Assessments and work on the SEND reforms from a Local Authority perspective. This would enhance individual skills and knowledge and provide in depth SEN experience. The posts are offered until 31st March 2018.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating the education, health and care needs assessment and transfer process, writing EHCPs and liaising with parents, young people and professionals.
