MAKE@Aldingbourne Enterprises located in Fratton is an exciting project, a thriving venue of creative activity supporting people with learning disabilities to develop their skills within retail, catering and creative arts.  As Café Lead you will organise, plan and lead the front of house, cooking and external bookings providing high customer service and ensuring a  delicious seasonal homemade menu and freshly made cakes are available at all times. Responsible for ensuring all Food Safety Standards are met both within the kitchen environment and the customer service areas.

A key part of this role is providing day to day training, support and appropriate learning environments for people with learning disabilities to provide quality services to all customers and developing their skills within the catering environment.

The post holder will play an active role within the team, a key holder and ensure team objectives are met in an effective manner whilst upholding the values of the Trust.
 
The contractual hours for this post are 37.5 hours per week working Tuesday - Saturday (including occasional evening, weekend and public holidays)
