I am working closely with my client, an established organisation in Crawley, to recruit for a full-time and permanent Assistant Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role entails:

• General Bookkeeping duties
• Bank Reconciliations in various currencies
• Cash flow forecasting
• Handling of contra accounts
• VAT Returns
• Assisting with Purchase Ledger

The ideal candidate for this role WILL have:

• 10 + years' experience within a finance department
• Experience of General Ledger/ Double-Entry Bookkeeping
• An understanding of contra accounts
• Purchase Ledger experience
