The Exeter Mobility Centre (EMC) Orthotic Service is looking for an Orthotist who can provide a high quality service working alongside other members of the Orthotic service team in order to ensure appropriate service provision to patients of all ages with a wide range of clinical conditions.The service has an in-house workshop facility employing nine technicians.The Orthotic service deals with approximately 50 new GP/Cnsultant referrals per week providing clinics in various locations including the EMC, Diabetes Centre, local hospitals and at special schools in and around Exeter therefore the post requires the ability to be able to travel to different sites.The Orthotic service provides excellent training and development opportunities with adequate time built into the clinical programme for CPD.Applicants must be HPC registered and are encouraged to follow BAPO recommendations for good practice.We would welcome informal enquiries prior to application and interview for the post.
