Creating the "WOW" at point of sale

In this key position, we are looking for someone with customer focused retail experience to deliver an industry leading customer experience across three Golf at Goodwood retail sites. These are located at the Kennels Private Members Clubhouse Golf Academy and the Goodwood Hotel.

Along with a creative mindset and affinity with our consumers you will have a strong commercial approach, to help optimise customer behaviour and evolve product development.  Thinking outside of the box you will work collaboratively with our wider golf team to grow our audience, whilst ensuring stock is well managed and forecasted to cope with demand.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as you support our team of Retail Advisors, setting key targets and incentives across the whole team.  You’ll be responsible for creating, managing, and implementing an integrated strategy, ensuring all activity is fresh, impactful, and engaging, without compromising brand integrity.  

Our customers sit at the heart of everything we do and by utilising key insights you will help create the very best retail experiences within our space.  As an effective influencer, you will have the confidence to manage multiple stakeholder relationships, working collaboratively towards differentiating Goodwood from its competitors.

An excellent relationship builder, enthusiastic and collaborative in your approach, you will work with key stakeholders to help deliver luxury shopping events, which exceed customer expectations.

What you’ll need:

• Commercially minded, including budget control and margin management
• Proactive, structured and highly organised
• Passionate about the customer experience
• At least three years retail management experience
• Energy and enthusiasm for what you do
• Excellent visual merchandising skills
• Good knowledge of retail systems and Microsoft packages
• Full clean driving licence and own or reliable transport
